Charity Art Auctions: Warrior Wonder Woman and Steampunk Lara Croft Bundles
Hello everyone! I’ve just listed two original art bundles on eBay to support a pair of great causes.
The first is an original Steampunk Lara Croft art bundle on to benefit the Mercy Corps and their work aiding Typhoon Haiyan survivors. The second bundle features original Warrior Wonder Woman art to benefit the American Red Cross and those displaced by the recent tornados across the Midwest.
Both packages feature a polished color illustration and concept sketch from the immensely talented Tess Fowler, as well as a signed cosplay photo of myself in the ensemble she inspired.
Check out the links for more details on the auctions, and let me know if you’ve got any questions about the art!
I’d super appreciate any reblogs you can spare - I’d like to get the word out there and nab a sizable donation for each piece!
Themyscira: Returning Home
After dreaming about bringing Warrior Wonder Woman to life for years, this shoot at the Palace of Fine Arts feels like the zenith of the project. The setting was perfect, the weather beautiful, and the photographer - Andrew Ho - incredibly talented. I actually felt like an Amazon at home on Themyscira.

Warrior Wonder Woman - From Concept to Completion
I’ve finally polished off my costume construction notes for Warrior Wonder Woman! Above is a taste of some of the process involved, including my collaboration with the talented Tess Fowler on the character concept.

Another Atomic Wonder Woman shot by Martin Wong!
Here’s a teaser from my Warrior Wonder Woman shoot with LJinto! I should have more up next week. You can find a few additional show floor photos here! :D
SDCC Showcase: Atomic Wonder Woman
Ready, set, ATOMIC! I instantly fell in love with Atomic Wonder Woman’s design when this statue was revealed. Although a few people didn’t recognize who I was without help from the belt buckle, this costume was received really well at SDCC. And it was super comfortable!
I’ll do a comprehensive blog with construction notes at a later date, but the majority of the armor is made from Worbla and EVA foam. The concrete is expandable insulation foam coated with textured spray paint. You can check out some of my progress photos here!
Overall I’m really happy with how this costume turned out. I’m going to make a few small adjustments before I wear it again, like taking in the top so it fits better.
Thank you to the awesome photographers below for helping me capture Atomic Wonder Woman!
SDCC Showcase: Warrior Wonder Woman!
Had an absolute blast wearing Warrior Wonder Woman at SDCC. Surprisingly, I made it all day hauling around the incredibly heavy shield, proving that the dedicated lifting these past few months has yielded some results!
For anyone who hasn’t seen this costume before, it’s an original collaboration between artist Tess Fowler and I. I’ve always adored Diana’s Amazon roots, and wanted to pay tribute to that aspect of her legacy. Tess helped me flesh out the design, and then I went to work on the costume!
More photos coming soon - Ljinto and I worked some magic together! :D
Atomic Wonder Woman Progress!
I’ve been working like mad on Atomic Wonder Woman all week - I can’t wait to wear this to SDCC! I’m still waiting for some important items to arrive, such as the prop chainsaw, but otherwise the costume is already in great shape with a week and a half to go.
