Time to get a bit girly as a PSA for other ladies. I’m in love with nail art stickers, as they are great for travel when you want to minimize dry time. I’ve shown off the Sally Hansen Salon Effects brand on my Instagram feed several times now, which I regularly pick up at Target.  I gave the Sephora collection a try a few days ago, and have found them far superior. Not only do they adhere better, they are easier to apply, and the bag is resealable so you can save extra strips for later should you need a touch up. So, there you go! Use them, they’re great!

Fresh Face Appreciation Post #2

Last week I compiled a group of photos celebrating lovely (cosplay) ladies sans-makeup. The prospect of photographing a fresh face was intimidating for some, and second nature for others. Either way the message is the same - natural beauty deserves its time in the spotlight, too. 

I’ll keep posting these as long as photos are sent my way. Show me what you’ve got, ladies! You don’t have to be a cosplayer - I just know a lot of them. :P

Yesterday I posted a little blurb about #FreshFaceAppreciation and how makeup can be a wonderful tool, but shouldn’t be a crutch for feeling beautiful. I mentioned that I’d like to put together a gallery of bare-faced beauties, and was rewarded with a handful of submissions. Turns out they are all cosplayers!

It may not seem like much to those of the male persuasion, or to ladies who’ve never dabbled in makeup, but the above is actually quite brave. My hat is off to them. If I wore a hat. Also, Catherine’s (of GSTQ) face kills me. <3
